Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between "exotic plants" and "tropical plants"? +
A tropical plant is one that originates from rainforests and humid areas near the equator — alocasias, philodendrons, monsteras, etc. "Exotic plant" is a broader term: any plant that is unconventional, rare, or not common on the local market. You will find both in our category.
Do the plants arrive healthy after being shipped from the Netherlands? +
Yes. The plants come from certified suppliers with decades of experience in international shipping, and they undergo an acceptance check by us before being shipped to the customer. A short period of acclimatization at home is natural and expected.
Are the exotic plants suitable for beginners? +
Some are, some are better suited for those with a bit of experience. On each product page, you will find an indication of the difficulty level. Those with basic experience with houseplants will do just fine with most plants in this category.
Do you offer advice after the purchase? +
Of course! Contact us via WhatsApp or phone with the plant name, and we'll be happy to help you with the growing process!
Do the plants come with a pot? +
The plants arrive in plastic nursery pots. If you want to upgrade to a decorative pot — we have a large selection of pots and planters in the shop that you can add to your order. We recommend leaving the plant in its nursery pot for at least the initial stages, because it is designed exactly for that: plant preservation, drainage, and optimal soil aeration.
So how do you combine it with a beautiful planter? Simple — place the pot as is inside the planter. No need to replant, no need to touch the roots. And if tomorrow you want a planter with a different design — you take it out, put it into a new one, done.
Choose a planter whose opening is 1-2 cm larger than the diameter of the nursery pot, and when the shipment arrives, simply place the plant with its nursery pot inside your new planter.
