Blooming that starts with a single bulb
Flower bulbs and corms for planting are the best way to plan a blooming corner in the garden, a planter, or a pot. In the Deco Garden collection, you will find packs of anemones, ranunculus, tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, amaryllis, gladioli, Dutch iris, cyclamen, calla lilies, and squill. Choose your color, flower shape, and blooming season — and create a combination that suits your space.
For a colorful look, you can start with mixed anemones and ranunculus; for a fragrant corner, discover the fragrant Chinese daffodil; and for a flower with a unique shape, choose the Ice Cream tulip.
How to choose flower bulbs and corms?
By location
Match the flower's light requirements to the location in the garden or balcony. For pots and planters, it is important to choose a container with drainage and leave space for growth, according to the species you have selected.
By blooming
Compare flower shades, shapes, and the blooming season listed for each product. A group of the same type creates a clear patch of color; combining different types adds interest throughout the season.
By pack
The number of bulbs or corms in each bag appears in the product name and description. This way, you can plan the quantity needed for a flower bed or several pots before adding to your cart.
Before planting: The differences that make it organized
Many flower bulbs are suitable for planting in the fall, once the weather cools down, but the planting time and pre-treatment vary by type. Tulips and hyacinths require pre-chilling according to the package instructions; anemones and ranunculus require soaking. Planting depth, spacing, and watering are detailed on each product page — there is no single instruction that applies to everyone.
You can complete the planting with planting soil and choose a container from our pots and planters. For a variety that also includes vegetable, herb, and flower seeds, visit seeds and bulbs.
Questions before choosing
Can bulbs and corms be planted in pots?
Yes, many types are also suitable for containers. Choose a pot with a depth and volume appropriate for the species, with drainage holes, and adjust the lighting according to the guide on the product page.
Do I need to chill or soak every pack?
No. The pre-treatment depends on the type: for example, chilling for tulips and hyacinths, versus soaking for anemones and ranunculus. Check the instructions on the packaging and the product you have chosen before starting.
When will the blooming appear?
Every type has its own season. The dates on the product pages are typical ranges, and depend on the planting time, the region, and growing conditions. The squill, for instance, blooms at the end of summer, unlike many of the winter and spring flowers in the collection.
