Very little! - Water only when the soil is completely dry. In winter - once a month! In summer - every 2-3 weeks. Killing #1: Overwatering!

Excellent drainage is essential! Succulent/cacti mix, or regular soil + perlite + sand. A pot with a drainage hole is a must!
