Bright light to direct sun - prefers at least 4-6 hours of bright light. Direct morning sun is great! Shade - will grow slowly and be "skinny".
Irrigation
Very little! - Water only when the soil is completely dry. In winter - once a month! In summer - every 2-3 weeks. Killing #1: Overwatering!

Excellent drainage is essential! Succulent/cacti mix, or regular soil + perlite + sand. A pot with a drainage hole is a must!

Room temperature (18-24°C) is ideal. Tolerates extreme heat. Sensitive to cold! Bring indoors below 10°C.
