🌱 Growing conditions

Light: Very flexible! From shade to bright filtered light. Not strong direct sun
Watering: Let the soil dry out between waterings. Forget about it!
Temperature: 15-30°C. Does not like extreme cold.
Humidity: Adapts to normal household humidity
Soil: General potting mix for houseplants, well-drained
Fertilization: Once a month or two in spring and summer. Not mandatory!
Pruning: Trim to encourage density or control length

✂️ Plant propagation

Stem cuttings in water: the easiest way!
How? Cut a stem with at least one node and a leaf
Put in water: the node is under water, the leaf is above
Location: Bright filtered light
Roots: Will appear within a week or two!
Transfer to soil: When roots are 5+ cm long (or leave in water!)
Direct cutting in the ground: Also works - plant and keep moist
Tip: Many cuttings in the same pot = an instant lush plant!

The secret to big leaves? Let the pothos climb! On a coconut pole or wall - the leaves grow 2-3 times their normal size. Saving a "bald" plant: Cut off the long stems, repot the cuttings - and you'll have a lush plant again. Growing in water forever: Pothos can live in water for years! Just change the water every week and add a drop of liquid fertilizer every now and then. Office lighting: One of the few plants that survives and even thrives in fluorescent light alone. Elevated location recommended: Beyond the design advantage, a high location keeps the plant out of reach of pets.
