A cocktail of cacti and succulents is the perfect way to bring the magic of the desert into your home! A selection of cute little plants that require almost no care, come in different shapes, colors, and textures that blend beautifully in any corner. Ideal for beginners, the forgetful, and anyone who wants a little green without a lot of work. Each pot is a small, wonderful world in itself!

🌱 Growing conditions

Light: Full sun or very bright light. A south or west facing window sill is ideal. Without enough light - the plants will stretch and lose their shape
Watering: Very little! Once every 2-3 weeks in summer, once a month in winter. Always wait for the soil to dry completely.
Humidity: Low - These are desert plants! High humidity is harmful to them
Temperature: 15-30°C. Most types tolerate cold down to 5°C but not frost.
Soil: A well-draining mix especially for cacti and succulents. You can add coarse sand or perlite.
Fertilization: Once a month or two in spring and summer only, in a reduced concentration. Do not fertilize in winter.

⚠️ Common problems and solutions

Root rot: The most common problem! Caused by overwatering. Stop watering, change dry soil if necessary.
The plant stretches and turns pale: lack of light. Move to a brighter location.
Wrinkled or soft leaves: Thirsty! It's time to water
Brown or black spots: rot from moisture or sudden sunburn
White woolly aphids: Very common on cacti. Treat with rubbing alcohol or neem oil.
Falling thorns: a sign of stress - check watering and lighting

Professional tip

The golden rule: Doubt = Don't water! Cacti and succulents die from too much water much more often than from too little. In the winter they are dormant and hardly need any water at all. If you are in doubt - wait another week. And always use a pot with a drainage hole!
