⭐ Growing conditions
Lighting
Bright indirect light - Ideal near a window with a curtain. Avoid direct sunlight which could burn the leaves. Also tolerates medium light but will grow slower.
Watering
Water when top 2-3 cm are dry. Keep soil moist but not soggy. Summer: twice a week | Winter: once every 10-14 days. Filtered water is recommended.
Temperature
Ideal: 18-27°C. A tropical plant that likes heat. Keep away from cold drafts and air conditioners. Do not expose to temperatures below 10°C.
Humidity
Loves high humidity! It is recommended to mist the leaves occasionally or place on a pebble tray with water. The palm itself also increases the humidity in the room.
Fertilizing
Balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month in spring-summer. Stop fertilizing in winter. Well-draining soil with some perlite.

📏 Size and appearance
Comes from Madagascar and can reach a height of 1.8-2.4 meters indoors (up to 6 meters outdoors!). Golden-green stems with arching feathery leaves. Each leaf contains 40-60 small leaflets. Also called the "Butterfly Palm" thanks to the shape of its leaves.
💡 Pro tip
Rotate the pot a quarter turn every week or two so the plant grows straight and even on all sides. If the leaf tips turn brown, do not cut into the green - only the brown part, otherwise more browning will occur.
