💧 Plastic Watering Can - 1, 3, 5 or 8 liters, for home and garden

Plastic watering can for houseplants, balcony planters, and garden beds. Choose your capacity - 1, 3, 5 or 8 liters - and color: red, green or yellow. The 3, 5 and 8-liter cans feature a rose attachment on the tip for a soft, gentle stream, while the 1-liter can has a long, narrow spout that reaches between leaves directly to the soil.

How to choose capacity? A liter of water weighs about a kilogram. A full 8-liter can weighs about 8 kg of water, plus the weight of the can itself. Choose based on what weight is comfortable for you to lift and pour with control - you don't have to fill it to the brim. The size of the can does not determine how much water each plant gets; that depends on the state of the soil.

💧 Why use a watering can?

🪣
4 capacities to choose from

1 liter for houseplants, 3 or 5 liters for the balcony, and 8 liters for long rows or garden beds.

🚿
Gentle stream with rose attachment

The rose on the 3, 5 and 8-liter cans diffuses water into a gentle stream - perfect for seedlings, young plants, and beds without eroding the soil.

🎯
Long spout on the 1L

A narrow spout that reaches between leaves to the base of the plant - convenient for small pots, shelves, and dense houseplants.

📏
Capacity markings on the side

The 3, 5 and 8-liter models feature embossed volume markings, helping when mixing liquid fertilizer according to label instructions.

🎨
3 colors

Red, green, or yellow, available in every capacity.

🏠 Where and how to use it?

Important: The watering can does not dictate when to water. Check the soil first - if it's still damp, wait.

⚠️ Avoid: Filling to the max if heavy, watering leaves instead of soil, leaving water in the saucer/pot cover, and leaving fertilizer solution in the can after use.

🚿 How to use

👆
Check the soil

Touch the soil and lift the pot - a dry pot is lighter.
If the soil is still damp, hold off on watering.

🚰
Fill to a comfortable weight

No need to fill completely. Fill until it's at a weight you can comfortably carry between pots.

💧
Pour slowly into the soil

Bring the spout close to the plant base and pour slowly, not onto the leaves.
With a rose, start pouring to the side and then move over the seedlings - this prevents the initial stream from hitting them all at once.

⏳
Let excess drain

For pots with drainage holes, water until a little leaks out the bottom.
After a few minutes, empty the saucer.

🪴
Pot in a decorative cover

Remove the grow pot, water near a sink or outdoors, and wait for it to stop dripping.
Only then return it to the cover.

🧽
After use

After watering with fertilizer, rinse the can with clean water.

📝 Important things to know

⚖️ How much a full can weighs

A liter of water weighs about a kilogram. An 8-liter full can is about 8 kg of water plus the can's own weight. Too heavy? Fill it halfway and make another trip.

📅 No single watering schedule

The amount of water and frequency depend on the plant, pot size, soil, light, and season - not the size of the can. Check the soil before every watering.

🧪 Watering with fertilizer

Mix fertilizer only per its label instructions, prepare only what's needed for one watering, and rinse the can afterwards. Don't leave unlabeled solutions in the can.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

❓ Which volume should I choose?

Choose based on the weight you are comfortable carrying. 1 liter is suitable for a few indoor pots, 3 or 5 liters for a balcony with several plants, and 8 liters for a long row of pots or a garden bed. You can always fill it only partially.

❓ How many plants can I water with one liter?

There is no fixed number. Small pots and large, deeply dried-out pots require different amounts. Water each plant according to the condition of the soil, until a little water comes out of the drainage hole.

❓ Do all sizes come with a sprinkler head?

According to the photos, the 3, 5, and 8-liter cans have a sprinkler head on the tip of the spout. The 1-liter can features a long, narrow spout without a sprinkler head—convenient for precise watering at the base of the plant.

❓ Should I water the leaves or the soil?

Water the soil, at the base of the plant. This way, the water reaches the roots, and less water remains on the leaves.

❓ Won't 8 liters be too heavy?

When full, it carries about 8 kg of water plus the weight of the can itself. If that is too heavy for you, fill it only halfway—or choose the 3 or 5-liter version.

❓ Can I prepare liquid fertilizer inside the watering can?

Yes, follow the instructions on the fertilizer label. Prepare only what you need for one watering session and rinse the can after use.

❓ How do I water a plant sitting inside a decorative cover pot?

Remove the inner grow pot, water it near a sink or outdoors, and wait for the excess to drain. Return it to the decorative pot only once it has finished dripping, and never leave water sitting at the bottom.

💧 In short—who is this for?

For anyone growing houseplants, balcony boxes, or a garden bed. 1 liter for individual indoor pots, 3 or 5 liters for balconies, and 8 liters for the garden or a long row of pots—choose according to the weight you are comfortable carrying.

💡 Tip: Not sure if it's time to water? Lift the pot. A dry pot feels significantly lighter; if it still feels heavy and the soil is moist—wait and check again later.
