A trick to speed up germination: Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours before sowing. Proper harvesting: Always harvest from the outside in and never more than a third of the plant - this way it will keep giving for months! Storage: Picked leaves can be stored in the refrigerator wrapped in a damp paper towel for up to a week, or frozen chopped in ice cube trays with olive oil.
