Moss Stick - The Secret to Impressive Climbing Plants! 🌿 A support pole made of natural coconut fiber, perfect for climbing plants such as Monstera, Pothos and Philodendron. The moss allows the aerial roots to cling and absorb moisture, just like in nature! The result? Larger leaves, faster growth and a healthy and impressive plant! 🪴

Why does my plant need a moss stick?

Climbing plants like monstera and philodendron grow naturally on tree trunks. As they climb, their aerial roots cling to the wood and absorb moisture and nutrients.

  • 🌿 Larger leaves: As the plant climbs, it produces larger and more impressive leaves.
  • 🕳️ Holes in the leaves: Monstera develops the famous holes only when it climbs!
  • 💪 Strong stem: The support allows the plant to grow upright and strong
  • 📈 Rapid growth: The plant invests energy in growth and not stability
  • 💧 Moisture to the roots: The mousse provides moisture to the aerial roots
Product benefits
  • 🥥 Natural coconut fiber: organic and environmentally friendly material
  • 💧 Moisture Retainer: Holds water and provides moisture to the roots
  • 🌱 Provides grip: a natural surface for roots to cling to

  • 🪴 Syngonium: grows beautifully on a moss stick
  • 🌱 Epipermenum: an excellent climber
  • 🍃 Hoya: The beloved wax plant
  • 🌴 Rapidophora: similar to a mini Monstera
💡 Rule of thumb: If a plant has aerial roots (small roots that come out of the stem) - it will love a moss stick!
🔧 Installation instructions
  1. Prepare the stick: Soak the mousse stick in water for 10-15 minutes until the mousse is saturated with moisture.
  2. Choose a location: Place the stick in the middle of the pot or behind the plant.
  3. Firmly establish: Push the stick deep into the ground (at least 10 cm) for stability
  4. Tie the plant: Use soft twine or clips to tie the stems to the stick.
  5. Direct roots: Place the aerial roots on the moss - they will hold on by themselves!
💧 Care and maintenance
  • 💦 Moisten the mousse: Spray the stick with water once a day or two.
  • 🌫️ Humidity: Keep the mousse moist but not soggy
  • 🔗 Tying: Tie new stems as the plant grows
  • 📏 Extension: When the plant is taller than the stick - add another stick on top
  • 🔄 Replacement: The mousse wears out over time - replace as needed
💡 Tip: Spray the stick when you water the plant - that way you won't forget!

💡
Tip from the nursery

Pro tip: Before tying the plant to the stick, place the aerial roots directly on the damp moss and gently firm them in. Within a few weeks they will hold on to themselves and the plant will start producing larger leaves! Another tip: Add diluted fertilizer to the water you spray on the stick - direct nutrition to the aerial roots!
