Gazania, also known as the "Treasure Flower," is the star of the Israeli summer! Its large, impressive flowers in warm shades of orange, yellow, red, and pink open every morning with the sun and close in the evening or on cloudy days. It originates from South Africa and feels right at home in the Israeli heat—it is drought-tolerant, loves the sun, and requires almost no care. The perfect solution for a sun-drenched garden or balcony!

🌱 Growing Conditions

Light: Full sun! The more sun it gets, the more flowers it produces. In shade, it will not bloom.
Watering: Very minimal. Tolerates extreme drought! Water only when the soil is completely dry.
Temperature: Loves heat (20-35°C / 68-95°F). Sensitive to frost – perennial in warm climates.
Soil: Well-drained. Does not like "wet feet!" Sandy soil is preferred.
Fertilizer: Hardly needed. Light fertilization once every month or two is sufficient.
