A round pot with an internal diameter of 8 cm and depth of 7 cm holds about 0.35 liters (3.14 × 4 × 4 × 7 ÷ 1,000), so one liter fills about 2-3 such pots from scratch. When repotting, with an existing root ball, it lasts for more.
