Gymnocalycium mihanovichii - the compound cactus or "Moon Cactus" - a unique creation that combines two cacti in one plant!
The colored ball above is a rare mutation that lacks chlorophyll - so it's not green! The bright colors (red, orange, yellow, pink) are the natural pigments that are exposed without the green.
Because the colorful part cannot produce energy on its own, it is mounted on a green cactus (usually Hylocereus - dragon fruit cactus) which provides it with food!

Tip for a long life
Overwatering is the enemy! It is better to underwater than overwater. If the green base becomes soft or brown, this is a sign of overwatering. In this case, stop watering and let it recover.
