Full sun - a must! The more sun there is, the more the plant will bloom and the more silvery the foliage will be. Can also tolerate partial shade, but sun is the secret to success. Ideal for Mediterranean gardens.
💧 Irrigation
Drought-resistant! A xerophytic plant (loves drought) that does well with minimal water. Water only when the soil is dry to a depth of 3-5 cm. In winter, there is almost no need to water. Overwatering = root rot!
🪨 Land
Excellent drainage! Prefers poor to medium soil, rocky or sandy. Excellent for rock gardens, planters and balconies. In a pot - add perlite or gravel for drainage. Does not like too rich soil.
🌡️ Temperature
Loves Mediterranean heat! Cold-resistant down to -10°C. Perfect for the Israeli climate! Does not need protection in winter in most of the country. In particularly cold places (like Jerusalem) it is worth covering in severe winters.

💛 Yellow leaves
Almost always overwatering! The beautiful pansy hates moisture. Reduce watering drastically and ensure excellent drainage. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings.
🌸 Not blooming
Lack of sun! Move to a sunnier location. Too rich soil can also cause leaves to grow at the expense of flowers. Does not need rich fertilizer.
💦 Root rot

The beautiful bindweed (Convolvulus cneorum) is a compact evergreen shrub from the bindweed family. It originates from the limestone hills of the Mediterranean region - making it perfect for the Israeli climate!
Special Foliage: The silver-green leaves are covered with fine silky hairs that give them a shimmering silver appearance. The foliage is attractive all year round, even when the plant is not blooming.
Blooms: Late spring to summer. Pink flower buds open into white trumpet flowers with a yellow center and a delicate pink stripe. The flowers attract bees and butterflies!
Size: Low, dense shrub, 30-60 cm tall and 60-120 cm wide. Very suitable for rock gardens, borders, slopes, flowerpots and planters.
