Exceptionally resistant to heat, drought and hard soils - perfect for the Israeli climate! Excellent for a dense hedge or as a single accent plant that brings dramatic color to the garden.

🌱 Growing conditions

Light: Full sun for the most intense purple color! Partial shade - more green
Watering: Very little! Regular watering in the first year, after establishment - drought resistant
Temperature: Resistant to extreme heat and cold down to -5°C (certain varieties down to -10°C)
Soil: Adapts to almost any type! Well-drained is preferred, tolerates poor and rocky soil
Fertilization: Almost not needed! Light fertilizer in spring if you want to encourage growth
Pruning: Tolerates pruning well - excellent for hedge design. Prune in late winter
Wind: Resistant to winds and saltwater - suitable for coastal areas
