Impatiens are the queens of the shade! While most flowering plants require sun, Impatiens thrive in the shady spots of your garden or balcony. Colorful flowers in shades of pink, red, white, orange, and purple cover the plant throughout the summer. The English name "Impatiens" comes from the word "impatient" - because the seed capsules explode when touched! An easy-to-grow plant that brings color to shady corners.

Light: Full shade to partial shade. No direct sun! Harsh sun will burn the leaves.
Watering: Regular and generous. Loves moist soil at all times. Sensitive to dryness!
Humidity: Prefers high humidity. Misting will help on hot and dry days.
Temperature: 15-25°C. Sensitive to cold and frost - annual in Israel.
Soil: Rich in organic matter, well-draining but moisture-retentive.
