Full sun to partial shade. For best flowering - full sun. But the foliage is more beautiful and shiny in partial shade! In very hot areas - partial shade is recommended for best appearance.
💧 Irrigation
Moderate. Water when the soil begins to dry out. Do not overwater! After establishment - the plant tolerates drought quite well. Reduce watering in winter.
🌱 Earth
Well-drained! Prefers slightly acidic soil. In alkaline/calcareous soil - fertilize regularly to prevent yellowing. Add compost and perlite to improve drainage.
🌡️ Temperature
Loves tropical heat! Ideal temperature 18-30°C. Sensitive to frost! In Israel - suitable for warm areas. In cold areas - grow in a pot and bring inside in the winter or protect from frost.

Birnit belongs to the same family as oleander. All parts of the plant contain a milky latex with alkaloids. Keep away from children and pets. Wear gloves when pruning and wash hands after contact.
