Full sun! - Likes lots of sun. Grows naturally in dry, arid areas. Can also tolerate partial shade but will grow more slowly.

Irrigation

Very drought-resistant! - Almost no watering required. In the first year, water once a week until established. After that - rain is sufficient.

ground

Not picky at all! Grows in poor, rocky, sandy soil - basically almost anywhere. Prefers well-drained soil. Perfect for problem areas in the garden.

Resistant to extreme cold (down to -30°C!) and heat. Resistant to drought, air pollution, salinity and winds. An extremely tough plant!

Pruning
