🌴 About the Pachypodium
The Pachypodium (Pachypodium lamerei), known as the "Madagascar Palm", is one of the most dramatic plants you can grow at home. A thick, swollen stem with spines along its length and a crown of long green leaves at the top – a look that immediately catches the eye.
The product arrives planted in a white ceramic pot with decorative red gravel – all ready, beautifully styled, straight from the nursery to your living room.
A plant for busy people: Little watering, full sun, and zero drama. The Pachypodium takes care of itself and rewards you with the look of a Madagascar jungle.

❓ FAQ
❓ The leaves dropped – is the plant dead?
No! Leaf drop in winter is perfectly normal – the Pachypodium is resting. As warmth and sun return, it will grow new leaves.
❓ Does the Pachypodium bloom?
Yes! Mature plants bloom with large, spectacular white flowers at the tip of the stem in the summer. Blooming usually starts at 3–5 years of age or older.
❓ How fast does it grow?
Slow growth – about 10–15 cm per year under good conditions. That's what makes it a collector's item – every centimeter counts!
❓ Can it be planted outdoors in Israel?
Definitely – in central and southern regions. In the north and at higher elevations – it's better to bring it inside during cold winters.
❓ Does the ceramic pot have a drainage hole?
Be sure to water sparingly in pots without a drainage hole. If there is no hole – use less than 50 ml every two weeks, and allow for complete drying.
