Full sun! - 8+ hours of direct sun per day. Mangoes love heat and sun - the more, the better!
Watering
Regular in summer - Water deeply and allow to dry between waterings. Reduce watering in winter - this aids flowering!
Soil
Well-drained! Mangoes cannot stand "wet feet." Sandy-loam soil is ideal. pH 5.5-7.5.
Temperature
Cold sensitive! - A tropical tree that is damaged by frost. Temperatures below 5°C (41°F) may cause damage. Suitable for warm areas in Israel (Coastal Plain, Jordan Valley, the South).
