Fill the vase with clean, cold water. Change the water every day or two (roses are more sensitive).

Cut 1-2 cm from the stem diagonally (45ยฐ) - especially important for roses!

Remove leaves and petals that are below the waterline and those that look wilted.

Place the vase away from direct sunlight, air conditioners and fruit . Roses like a cool place.

If you have a bag of additives - add to the water. If not - a teaspoon of sugar + a teaspoon of white vinegar will extend the life of the roses!

Special tip for roses
If the roses are looking a little "tired" - try cutting the stem again diagonally and placing the flowers in warm (not boiling) water for an hour. This often brings them back to life!
