🪰 What is the fruit fly and why is it dangerous?

The Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata) is the #1 enemy of fruit trees. The female lays eggs inside the ripening fruit; the larvae (maggots) develop inside, causing the fruit to rot and drop prematurely.

Success works using an intelligent "Attract & Kill" method:

2️⃣ Spinosad – An active ingredient of natural origin (from the bacteria Saccharopolyspora spinosa) that affects the fly upon ingestion.
3️⃣ Not on the fruit! – Unlike regular spraying, Success is applied to the trunk and foliage, not directly onto the fruit. The fly is drawn to the bait and exposed to the active ingredient.

💧 How to use?

Step 1: Shake the bottle well before use.
Step 2: Spray directly from the bottle (ready to use!) onto the tree trunk and parts of the foliage – not on the fruit!
Step 3: Apply a patch/strip on the trunk and several branches on the southern side of the tree (where flies are more active).
