💚 Baby Tears - Magical Green Waterfall
A lovely creeping plant with thousands of tiny, round leaves that create a dense, soft green carpet like moss! The thin branches spill out of the pot and create a green waterfall effect - perfect for hanging pots or as a ground cover in a terrarium.
The plant originates from the Mediterranean islands (Corsica and Sardinia). It grows quickly and spreads beautifully , forming thick green cushions. It is also called "Angels' Tears", "Mind Your Own Business" or in Latin Soleirolia soleirolii.
The slender branches spill out of the pot like a soft green waterfall - spectacular in hanging pots or on high shelves!
The tiny leaves (2-6 mm!) create a soft and delicate texture that you can't stop touching!
Perfect for hanging pots, terrariums, ground cover in large pots, or around bonsai - adds a magical forest look!
Under good conditions, it spreads and fills up quickly - within a few months it will cover the entire pot and start to spill!
Like most houseplants, it helps purify the air and add moisture to the environment - beautiful and healthy!

⚠️ Avoid: direct sunlight (you will burn!), dry places with air conditioning/heating, places that are too dark.
Always keep the soil moist - not wet, not dry!
Water when the surface of the soil begins to dry out - usually every 2-3 days in the summer.
💡 Yellowing/brown leaves = dryness! The plant "faints" quickly but recovers quickly.
Bright indirect light - not direct sun!
Also tolerates medium light/partial shade. Direct sun will burn the delicate leaves.
Ideal: North, east window, or away from a south/west window.
Likes high humidity (50%+)!

If the plant "fainted" from dehydration - don't panic! Water well and it will recover within hours. It is dramatic but strong!
You can prune to shape or thicken. Just trim off any parts that are too long - it will branch out and become fuller!
Simply divide the plant or plant pieces in moist soil - takes root within days! One of the easiest plants to propagate.
