Acalypha is a spectacular tropical plant with colorful foliage that rivals any flower! The large leaves come in stunning color combinations - red, pink, orange, green, bronze and copper - sometimes all on the same leaf! Professional tip
The secret to the most vibrant colors? Light! Eclipta in the shade will be greener, but in bright (not scorching) sun the colors will explode. Easy propagation: Stem cuttings root easily in water or moist soil - within weeks you will have a new plant! Colorful hedge: Plant 60-80 cm apart to create a spectacular fence. Frequent pruning creates density and new colors (the youngest leaves are the most colorful!). In winter: If grown outdoors - cover or bring inside when it gets cold.
